Solaria, a leading European company in the development of renewable energies and infrastructures, continues to advance in the development of its projects according to its strategic plan. It is currently in the process of constructing 1.4 GW of photovoltaic plants in Spain, which have already been financed. The company expects to connect this portfolio over the course of 2025, increasing from 1.7 GW to 3.1 GW. This project portfolio includes the first projects in Italy.
Solaria has a very important growth and diversification plan and expects to reach 14.3 GW installed by the end of 2028 in line with its goal of reaching 18 GW by 2030. To this end, it is diversifying technologically towards the development of wind energy and batteries, and geographically with projects in Germany, Portugal and Italy. With respect to hybridization with batteries, the development of this technology is expected to accelerate in Spain due to the introduction of capacity payments from 2025.
