We actively contribute to sustainable development
Sustainability
As has been rightly repeated in recent times, we have to make radical changes in the way we treat the planet and in the way we create and use the energy and resources that power our industries, our cities, our homes and our world.
Solaria, aware of its role as a benchmark company in the energy transition, has advocated that the ecological transition must be accelerated through a rapid and massive deployment of technologies such as solar photovoltaic. Renewable energies, and in particular solar photovoltaic energy, bring with them an essential triad: decarbonizing our economies, electrifying our societies and increasing energy efficiency. In this sense, photovoltaic solar energy is undoubtedly the cornerstone of three major challenges we face as a society:
- The fight against global warming
- The need to achieve energy sovereignty for all nations, which translates into national security (avoiding dependence on foreign fuels).
- The need to achieve cheap electricity prices
Our business is fully aligned with European plans and regulations, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and plans to combat climate change. Sustainable development is at the heart of our strategic plan and is part of our values.
But we are not only committed to climate change and sustainability through our renewable energy generation business, we put all our efforts to bring additional value and contribute to the environment and society in our daily and corporate management.
Our contribution to the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs
We are fully committed to the SDGs and respect all of them, actively contributing mainly to 7 of the 17, and making sure that we do not harm any of the others.
