Solaria signs a 10-year PPA with Trafigura

Solaria has signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with a duration of 10 years and a total volume of 1 TWh with Trafigura, a leading commodities group. This agreement is linked to a 50 MW solar project.

Specifically, Solaria will supply renewable energy to Trafigura from a solar photovoltaic plant of the Cifuentes-Trillo 626 MW complex located in Guadalajara (Spain). This plant generates enough energy to power over 300,000 homes.

Darío López, CEO of Solaria, said: “It is an honour to start this collaboration with Trafigura, a leading commodities group. We appreciate the trust placed in Solaria to accompany them as an energy partner for the next decade”.

Igor Marin, Head of Gas and Power at Trafigura, said: “We are delighted to announce this long-term agreement with Solaria, a leading solar developer in Spain. The deal with Solaria provides us with the ability to combine differently designed PPAs and offer individual products for our customers”.
