Solaria, a leading European company in the development of renewable energy and infrastructure, offers a fast and cost-effective access route for the development of data centers. Solaria’s solution, which consists of connecting the data center to its own grid, is an unbeatable value proposition for the development of data centers in record time.
The competitive cost of energy in Spain, the availability of land, access to energy and the high fiber optic connectivity at an international level through the submarine cables that reach our country, make us the best node for the development of data centers that will turn Spain into a hub in Europe.
The long process of processing and execution associated with the development of infrastructures is the great bottleneck that Solaria is able to solve in record time with its own network.
Solaria offers great added value to potential data center customers, as it has an energy portfolio of more than 3 GW in operation and under construction, and a private electricity infrastructure that includes almost 1,000 km of grids, 97 substations and 70 photovoltaic plants. This portfolio will continue to grow to reach 14.3 GW in 2028, focusing on geographic diversification and hybridization with wind energy and batteries.
In addition, through its LandCo, Generia, the company has extensive know-how and a large portfolio of land for the development of data centers in the vicinity of infrastructures already built and under development.
Successful model in record time
Solaria already has 265 MW of assured power to be able to connect the data centers to the electrical grid, which added to the infrastructure in property (lines, substations, generation plants and land), guarantees the fastest time to service in the market.
Solaria’s proposal can be guaranteed in record time since it has already secured the power and has built or is building the plants, lines and substations that allow the connection of these facilities to the transmission grid, saving years in the permitting process.
In addition, Solaria’s solution means an increase in the profitability of the data centers thanks to substantial savings in their electricity bills.
