SOLARIA INAUGURATES THE BIGGEST PV COMPLEX IN CASTILLA Y LEON

Madrid, December 19th, 2019

Today, Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente, S.A has inaugurated the biggest PV Complex in Castilla y León, with the presence of Mr. Alfonso Arroyo Gonzalez, the Energy Managing Director of Castilla y León Region.

This PV complex installed capacity is 110MW distributed in three PV power plants, “Santiz I”, “Guleve-Palacios del Arzobispo” y “Lerapa-Vadelosa I”, located in Valdelosa y Palacios del Arzobispo in Salamanca province.

During the construction, more than 1,000 jobs have been created and 328,050 modules installed in more than 260 hectares of land.

The PV complex will produce 220 GWh per year, equivalent to the consumption of 67,000 households per year.

The energy fed into the grid by the PV plants included in these contracts will be 100% renewable and will reduce the CO2 emissions to the atmosphere by more than 44,000 tons per year, thus helping to reach the targets of the Renewable European Directive 2009/28/EC to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The Solaria investments in Castilla y León for the next 2 years will exceed 800M EUR. This is one of the strategic regions for the development and growth of the company.
