September 22, 2022

Solaria, a leading company in the development and generation of photovoltaic solar energy in Europe, today published its results for the first half of 2022.

Solaria has ended the first half of the year with an increase in the main financial figures: revenues have increased by 52% to 75.4 million euros, EBITDA has also increased by 61% to 68.1 million euros and net profit has grown by 85% to 43.7 million euros.

The increase in the aforementioned income statement figures is due to the fulfilment of the business plan set by the group, which means a higher energy production due to the new plants connected at the end of the financial year 2021 and beginning of 2022. All this, together with the optimisation of costs, implies a progressive and substantial improvement in Solaria’s results, which adds to the growth experienced in recent years.

In terms of connected capacity, the Company has increased by almost 300 MW this year, reaching 1,000 MW in operation, in addition to the 1,034 MW under construction in the five countries in which it operates. In addition, Solaria already has visibility on 14 GW to reach the target of 18 GW in 2030.

In line with the commissioning of new facilities, energy production has increased by 50% from 430 GWh to 641.7 GWh.

According to Solaria’s Chairman, Mr. Enrique Díaz-Tejeiro: “Reaching the gigawatt connected is a major milestone for our company. During this first half of the year we have experienced a geopolitical situation in Europe that has put renewables at the centre of the debate and will undoubtedly boost their development. The excellent results of this first half and the good prospects for the second half of the year will allow Solaria to fulfil its roadmap for 2030”.
