Solaria has obtained the highest rating in the ESG rating from Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI), moving from an “A” to an “AAA” and placing it among the Top 15 utilities.
With this achievement, the company, which has moved up two notches, joins the exclusive group of securities that receive an “AAA” rating for environmental, social and corporate governance issues.
This rating is backed by Solaria’s strong governance practices relative to its global peers and its commitments to sustainability, decarbonisation and people’s well-being, positioning it as a leading company in its sector in the management of ESG risks and opportunities.
Sustainability is a core value for Solaria and one of the cornerstones of its strategy. In addition to generating 100% renewable and emission-free photovoltaic solar energy, Solaria has been striving for years to be sustainable in everything it does.
“We are proud to achieve the highest rating in MSCI’s ESG rating. This recognition is the result of the hard work we have done over the years and confirms that we are on the right track. At Solaria, we are convinced that sustainability is at the heart of our strategy and is a fundamental axis to continue advancing in the energy transition”, says Sandra de Linos, Solaria’s Sustainability Manager.
