Solaria has obtained favourable environmental impact statements (DIA) for 3,985 MW of its project portfolio subject to the milestones established in Royal Decree-Law 23/2020.
These projects include the company’s flagship photovoltaic plants such as Cifuentes-Trillo (Guadalajara), Garoña (Burgos) and Villaviciosa (Toledo-Madrid).
These projects of 4 GW in total will generate green energy for two and a half million homes and avoid the emission of 2 million tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.
“The achievement of these environmental permits contributes to our strategic plan to reach 18 GW by 2030 and ratifies our commitment to the environment. These projects will be key to continue leading the energy transition, which is so necessary in the current context”, says Mr. Enrique Díaz-Tejeiro, Chairman of Solaria.
