Solaria, a leading European company in the development of renewable energies and infrastructures, has obtained confirmation from Red Eléctrica de España on the viability of access and connection of 213 MW of demand of a data processing center (DPC) in Madrid South.

This authorized power, together with the infrastructure in property (lines, substations, generation plants and land), guarantees the fastest time to service in the market.

Record time for the development of data centers

Solaria’s proposal can be implemented in record time, as it has the assured power and the necessary plants, lines and substations to connect these facilities to the transmission grid, allowing it to avoid several years in the authorization process. In addition, Solaria’s solution offers greater profitability for data centers, thanks to significant savings in their electricity costs.

Solaria offers great added value to potential data center customers, as it has an energy portfolio of more than 3 GW in operation and under construction, in addition to 1.1 GW with authorizations, and a private electrical infrastructure that includes almost 1,000 kms of grids, 97 substations and 70 photovoltaic plants. This portfolio will continue to grow to reach 14.3 GW in 2028, focusing on geographic diversification and hybridization with wind energy and batteries.

In addition, through its LandCo, Generia, the company has extensive know-how and a large portfolio of land for the development of data centers in the vicinity of infrastructures already built and under development.
