Earlier today, SOLARIA signed a long-term financing agreement with Natixis S.A., S.E. (Spain) for 250MW awarded in the 2017 Spanish renewable auction.
The financing is a project-finance arrangement involving an amount of over €130mn.
From this moment onward, funds shall be withdrawn in accordance with the pace of construction.
Plants are currently under construction and are to be connected to the grid over the course of 2019.
SOLARIA Chairman Enrique Díaz-Tejeiro: “Signing this financing agreement was a priority for Solaria group. The arrangement, with over €130Mmn for these 250MW, allows us to be highly confident of our ability to fund the strategic plan, which should make us a 3.3GW player by 2023”.
