SOLARIA ANNOUNCES 450MW TRILLO PROJECT, THE LARGEST PROJECT IN ITS HISTORY

Madrid, 1st October 2019

Solaria has obtained the favourable feasibility access permit (IVA) to install 450MW PV in Trillo 400kV substation located in Guadalajara province, where Solaria acts as Single Node Interlocutor (IUN).

Trillo Project is the biggest project in Solaria’s portfolio and represent close to 15% of the 3,325MW target set by the company for 2023.

To date, the company has already secured the more than 1,000 hectares of land required for the project.

The project will generate an estimated production of 900GWh per year equivalent to the consumption of a population of 270,000 and will prevent the emission of 6.2 millions of tons of CO2 over its lifetime.

Enrique Díaz-Tejeiro, Solaria Chairman: “Trillo Project is very relevant for us being the largest of our history and one of the largest in Spain and in Europe. This announcement is a clear evidence of the quality and sustainability of our 6.6GW pipeline”.
