Solaria has reached today an agreement in principle with La Banque Postale for the long-term financing of 150MW.
The agreement, the second signed by both entities, is subject to the successful completion of the due diligence of the projects and the final approval of the bank’s risk committee.
The financing is articulated under the Project Finance modality for an amount of up to 84 M EUR.
The plants will be connected in 2022.
In the words of Solaria’s Chairman, Mr. Enrique Díaz-Tejeiro: “This second financing agreement with La Banque Postale demonstrates the trust placed once again in Solaria. We are proud to be able to say that year after year we are able to lower our financing cost. Agreements like this one make us look to the future with optimism to finance our strategic plan to reach 18 GW by 2030”.
The energy fed into the grid by the photovoltaic plants will be 100% renewable and will avoid the emission of 70,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere annually, which is equivalent to the consumption of 85,000 Spanish households per year.
