The company reached agreements with major distributors in markets such as Germany and Italy valued at more than 13 million Euros
Madrid, 10th April 2012
Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente, S.A., the only Spanish solar company listed in the stock market, closed sales agreements of modules in the first quarter of 2012 amounting to over 13 million Euros.
The modules business line continues to weigh heavily on the total turnover of the company.Solaria has reached agreements with distributors in countries like Italy, Germany and United Kingdom through which offers customized solutions to residential and commercial markets, primarily for applications covering various project sizes, ranging from a few kilowatts to 1 to 2 MW.
The company is positioned as a high quality European manufacturer, offering solutions to the diverse needs of residential and commercial customers, from the Solar Kit that has all the components needed to complete a PV system to modules of different sizes and power outputs, that adapt to different types of installation.
Solaria is well positioned in the market thanks to its efficiency and competitiveness; a market where grid parity is already a reality in some southern European regions with high irradiation levels, where we can say net metering is feasible and consistent with the proliferation of small and medium-sized facilities.
Solaria expects sales to keep this trend in the second quarter, mainly driven by countries such as Italy and Germany, where the company is consolidated through a large distribution network, as well as Latin America where the Group is engaged in different projects.
